Assorted Italian antipasto platter recipe
Prepare the zucchini blossom mini flan.
In the pages dedicated to vegetable recipe ideas you can find the step-by-step description to prepare the zucchini blossom mini flan (courgette flower mini flan). Thay are tasty both warm or cold.
Place one of these in the plate.
Prepare the quail eggs.
Remember to boil the eggs only for 3 to 4 minutes and plunge them in the cold water once boiled to shell them easily. Once shelled halve them.
Garnish with mayonnaise as you can see in the photo above and transfer to the plate.
Cut the salami.
Choose the salami you prefer. We suggest a salami made of chamois or deer or wild boar.
Cut 5 slices and transfer them to the plate.
Prepare the seasonal salad.
Clean and wash the chicory.
Then remove the excess of water.
Combine with the olive oil, grapes and walnuts.
Season to taste with salt and stir.
Transfer to the plate.
Note
- - All these ingredients can be an assorted Italian- style antipasto, ideal to begin a lunch or a dinner menu or one-plate meal for your family.
What's the right wine ?
If you prefer white wines our tip is: Verduzzo DOC Vini del Piave or Chardonnay DOC Vini del Piave (both are white wines of Veneto - Italy) but if you always choose to drink red wine we suggest Merlot DOC Lison Pramaggiore (red wine of Veneto).
