russian salad

  • 2 400 g (14 oz) cans assorted vegetables
  • 400 g (14 oz) tuna in oil
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 250 ml (8 fl oz - 1 C) mayonnaise
  • Salt

Choose the assorted vegetables with carrots, potatoes and peas. Drain the vegetables very well and put them in a bowl. Add the oil and season to taste with salt; at this point add the tuna, drained and crumbled with a fork, and mayonnaise. Remember to set aside some mayonnaise to garnish your dish. Stir with delicacy and pour your salad into another bowl. Level the surface and spread the remaining mayonnaise on the surface. If you want, you can garnish the salad with some pieces of assorted vegetables.
Chill in the refrigerator some hours before serving.
