- Montepulciano (85 - 100%)

- intense ruby red with purplish highlights turning to orange with age

- winy, light and agreeable
- Taste:
- dry, soft, sapid, lightly tannic
- Minimum alcohol content:
- 11.5%
- Aging:
- until the first of March after the harvest therefore up to 3 - 4 years

- Montepulciano d'Abruzzo with additional geographic mention (12%) - Riserva with geographic mention (12.5% - it must age minimum 2 years in wood barrel therefore it can be preserved up to 4 - 5 years)
- Serving temperature of wine Montepulciano d'Abruzzo:
- Serve the wine at: 60 - 64°F (16 - 18°C) - Cerasuolo must be served at 57°F (14°C) and must be drunk when still young
