These cakes are like sweet ravioli: puff pastry with a sweet filling.
They are made in Lombardy near Brescia.

Prepare filling.
Mix macaroons, almonds, sugar, plain dried breadcrumbs, anisette, a pinch of salt in a bowl and add water slowly, stirring continuously until you have a soft mixture.
The quantity of water can vary; it depends on many things.
Now you have to cut many discs from puff pastry.
Arrange a bit of filling in the centre of every disc and close everyone as an half-moon.
You can help yourselves with your dampened fingers to close ravioli in the best way.
Spread the surface with beaten egg.
Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and bake ravioli for 15-20 minutes or until their surface is golden.
