Spoon measures are American spoons, that is standard cook's measuring spoons used in USA.
The best plan is to regard 2 American teaspoons or tablespoons as 1 English teaspoon or tablespoon (eating spoons)
Prepare the marinade. Let the onion fry lightly in the olive oil in a pan over a low heat (don't let it brown). Then add
the aromatic herbs and pour in the vinegar. Let the vinegar boil very slowly until it is half reduced. At this point add
the wine and half a glass of water. Boil for few minutes.
Meanwhile take away your meat from the fridge, cut it into thin slices and arrange them on the bottom of a large bowl.
When the marinade is ready, pour it into the bowl in order to cover the meat slices. Let all cool and then chill for
several hours until serving. Remember to take away from the fridge at least 30 minutes before serving.
Note
What's the right wine?
Our suggestion is: Colli di Luini Rosso (red wine from Liguria - Italy)
