- Garnish: a cocktail cherry and a lemon slice
- 3/10 Gin
- 1/10 Cherry Brandy
- 2/10 lemon juice
- 4/10 Soda Water
How to make it
Place some ice cubes in the shaker and add all the other ingredients but Soda. Shake for 6-8 seconds and strain into the ice filled glass. Stir in Soda Water. Decorate with a cocktail cherry and a lemon slice. The cocktail is ready.
Variations and note
You can serve it at any time. It was created by the bartender Ngiam Tong Boon in 1915 at Raffles hotel in Singapore. At the beginning it was considered a woman's cocktail for its color.
