Variations
You can also use an Italian Prosecco or a sparkling wine instead of champagne. It's a pre dinner cocktail.
This cocktail was created by Giuseppe Cipriani at Harry's Bar in Venice in 1948. In this time there was an exhibition of a painter, Giovan Battista Bellini, named Giambellino. The cocktail name derives from this.
