(How to downoad, print and realize our 2009 bookmark-calendar )

This is a good idea for a gift up to January 2009. You can also use it as place card for your Christmas table; write the name of your guest on a little card by hand and put it near the bookmark-calendar. Every guest will have his own little Christmas present and will be very happy!
We propose you two versions.
Version 1. With decoration, fruit and flower images
Version 2. With photos from Italy
You can print your bookmark-calendars on cardboard of different colours: white or pale yellow.
The thickness of the cardboard depends on the choice you make: print on both sides of a single sheet, print on two sheets.
Print on both sides of a single sheet
The thickness of the cardboard must be 140 gsm.
- It would be better to make a test print so you can verify, without wasting ink, if the A4 sheet is subdivided according to the image 1.
If you see your printer has left margins (img 2) it would be better you follow the instructions for printing on two sheets.

- If the test print is OK, make the second step. Print the front, take the sheet and turn it over, then insert it in the printer and print the back.
You can have the year 2009 printed on the bottom part of the sheet (on both sides as you can see in the img 3)

Version 2 - (english version)
- At this point you have to cut the sheet into three parts. You can see a light broken line on the printed sheet; we drew it to make the cutting easier. For the best results use a box cutter and a rule instead of a pair of scissors.
Fold in half every rectangle and then lay all the pieces once upon the other as you can see in the img 4. Verify the sequence of the months is correct.
- It's necessary to tie the rectangles together with a fine string (50 cm for each calendar). Choose the colour according to your taste or the photos. You can thread some beads into both the ends of the string. See the photo for more details. Fix every bead with a little knot.
Make only some knots and don't use beads if the bookmark-calendar is for a man (version 2).

Print on two sheets
The thickness of the cardboard must be 90 gsm.
- It would be better to make a test print so you can verify, without wasting ink, if the A4 sheet is subdivided according to the image 1.
If you see your printer has left margins (img 2) you have to know that it's necessary to cut these margins after the printing of the calendar.

- If the test print is OK, make the second step. Print page 1 and then page 2 on different sheets.
You can have the year 2009 printed on the bottom part of every sheet as you can see in the img 6.
